So my jaw has been hurting for a week. I dont know exactly why it started, or stopped for that matter the very day I was going to the dentist, but you cant cancel the appt. the day of. So I go to a new dentist, Dr. Keller and low and behold, with no jaw pain. He takes Xrays and looks at my teeth, then takes me to a room where he puts a small camera in my mouth and shows me my teeth. I have had filings (the silver ones) for years and I knew that at some point, they might need to be replaced. Well guess what time it is???!!!!
Yepers, its going to be a little spendy having four filings replaced. Son of a! He also said that I should at least have braces on my bottom teeth because I have an underbite and that is putting pressure on my back teeth and that is why he thinks there has been pain recently and also why, aside the fact that my filings are old, that I have some cracks in my teeth.
Damn! Damn Damn!
I have to go back in two weeks and get this party started. Blech!
