Aaaahhhh.....SNOW!

If you are on Facebook and you check regularly, then you might already know about the 2.5 feet of snow that landed in my yard from 7:30am on Wed. to 3:30pm Thursday. Thats how long and how much it snowed. Last winter, sometime in Jan. I believe, it snowed just about as much but not quite. This was a doozy.

I woke up around 6 and went out to measure the snow. I told LP I didnt think we would be going anywhere but I was going to go out and start shoveling anyhow. Now, my driveway is huge compared to todays standard of driveway. The house was built in '58 and is a two car garage, so just think...long and wide! (Huuummmm....long and wide....)Sorry, side tracked for a moment.

Anyway....I was out there for about an hour plus before I called into mom and said, "Wake up my brother and get him out here!" He came out and we proceeded to shovel for about four hours total! A nice neighbor came and used his snowblower on the street in front of our house and then last night at 11:00pm, we must have been one of the very first residential streets to get plowed. I am thinking someone who works for the city lives in our neighborhood or maybe has a parent that does because even Driscoll Blvd, a main bus line in the city, was just getting plowed this morning when we took off in my trusty sleigh. (I am telling you, a Subaru is an AWESOME vehicle.)

So, I am at work and dont expect to have much to do. I think it will be a short day. I think I will head down to Yakima tomorrow to try and avoid the snow that is supposed to fall again on Sunday. I dont know when I will get a chance to blog again, but just know it will be a good one so worth the wait!

PS. I watched Youngblood last night and have got to say that Rob Lowe is probably one of the finest men ever put on this earth. Hot and Bothered!!!!
